    Duck calls

    Hoping this is the best forum...

    My mother-in-law lives in farmers branch and has a major problem with ducks in her pool.

    So I'm looking for a duck call to give her for Christmas as a joke. What duck/ducks are in the area, or better yet point me out to the correct duck call.

      well i can figure that much out, but I'm looking for the specific one for the ducks in the area. They have something in the neighborhood of 40 different calls.

          Why get her a duck call, you don't want MORE ducks. Buy her an alligator for the pool that should fix the problem. Plus I've never met anyone who bought an alligator for their pool that had buyers remorse.

                You arent grasping the concept, she isnt going to be able to call ducks either way, so get her a duck call and let her blow her heart out. It doesnt make a difference which of the 40 you get her.

                      There are shitloads of duck species in the area. Take a picture of the ducks, and I'll try to identify them, if I can. It could be pintails, mallards, or a lot. We're in the Central Flyway, if you feel like googling what species fly through.

                        What kind of ducks are in her pond? Prolly Mallord if I had to guess. I'd just get her a string of calls for 20 bucks apiece or you can get a spicific call for 60+.

                          Don't waste money on anything nice....they start as low as $12 and go upwards of $300 for nice, custom, acrylic calls. Buy something cheap, hanging on a rack in a package and stay away from the display case units. I assure you, she's going to throw it in the trash or a drawer and forget about it anyway.
                          If you need an exterminator, let me know, I'll be glad to whack'um and stack'um for her!
