If you have a .223 SBR upper why not just get the drop in conversion for something like $150-$200 and plink away.

I'd rather not dick around with conversion kits on my m16. I'd rather have a complete gun than constantly swapping and tuning stuff.

But I may be over thinking it.

The drop in conversions are just like swapping a BCG but yeah I don't know if I would go that route on an M16 either.
