  • .22LR Dedicated AR15 SBR

So I've go this itch to buy one of those little .22lr only ARs. I'd like to sbr it to about 5-6.5". Question is, does anyone know if anyone offers already manufactured short barrels like I'm wanting?

I guess as another option I could have the factory one cut down...anyone locally that can then rethread the barrel and not be so bad my supressor gets fucked on the first shot?

              cmmg , as mentioned above

they have a 6.5". for the most part rounds are still supersonic coming out of barrel.

              if you want really short...
              Taccom has a 4".
              http://www.taccom3g.com/AR15_PISTOL_BARRELS.html

this would keep most ammo subsonic

if you want to cut down & thread one....you can check out

CMMG has chamber inserts you can use on your current .223/5.56 upper, too.

That tacom barrel getup looks a little to goofy for my tastes.

May look into the cmmg barrels and go from there.

Just cut it down. The 4" barrels look great with a can.

You don't need a separate barrel, if you use a chamber insert.

No clue what I need. Im thinking I may just buy one of the .22 guns and cut it down.

I want something tiny like this, minus the rail and front sight set up.

                          Or this

I think, Id rather have a complete gun and leave my M16 as is.

That second picture looks nice. I would go for something like that, looks more "solid" I guess is the word

If you have a .223 SBR upper why not just get the drop in conversion for something like $150-$200 and plink away.
