  • Red dot sight recommendations for Ruger Mark III Hunter

Looking for recommendations for those of you experienced with red dot sights, specifically on pistols. We're looking to add a Ruger scope rail and optics to my father-in-laws Ruger Mark III Hunter.

I've done a little research. The Ultra Dots have solid reviews but also a little pricey. Are they worth it over cheaper options like a Bushnell Trophy TRS-25, Tasco, BSA, etc? I guess one plus for the Ultra Dot is they have a lifetime warranty. It's important that the optic is comfortable to use for my 62 year old father-in-law who wears glasses.

The purpose is just recreational shooting in the country from 0-100 yards. Thanks guys.

I have a little Burris Fastfire on my lite and it works very well. Buy the rear sight removal kit too so you can eliminate the front and rear irons.

Primary arms just released their new pistol mounted reflex, green sot, 6moa. Cheap and uses fastfire mounts.

..but if you want one you better buy it now. Those red dots I posted up earlier this week are already sold out.
