I'm wondering if forensics might prove he didn't shoot them in the basement like he said. That would also lend more credence as to why the police arrested him and the judge slapped him with a $2MM bond instantaneously... something like the old man coaxed them into the basement and basically murdered them for robbing him previously.

He said he "messed up" by shooting them too many times. I think that'll be the most honest part of his statement.

I can't decide which is a more gross negligence - shooting and killing both of them in the fashion he did, or explaining how he did it to the police officers.

Not yet, but regardless white people will never be the minority, no matter how small the percentage is. It could be 80% hispanic, black, asian, etc. and 20% white and they would still be the minority.

that's not what i was talking about. if you shoot someone in your house and they don't die, you are fucked. a guy here at my job was a kid when somebody broke into his house, his dad fought the guy, took the burglars gun and shot him. he didn't die though and got 10 years probation(the dad, not the burglar). if you ever have to shoot someone, make it count!
