Theres a guy wanting to trade me a model 3 for a welder I have. How much is the gun worth?

It depends on the caliber and condition. Got pictures? If it's in great shape, it should be worth a grand or more, retail, but a rare caliber in good shape can bring far more. It really needs to be evaluated by an appraiser used to valuing rare guns, not a bunch of jack holes on an Internet forum.
