      About to order this, what the hell is the difference between 1/3 witness and absolute co witness?

        Absolute co witness will have the red dot sitting at the top of your front sight, 1/3 will have your iron sights in the lower 1/3 of the sight picture with the red dot above. The absolute will allow you to utilize your iron sights without having to change your view angle if you run out of battery or your red dot fails to work.

          very good info! thanks! This is the info i was needing for when i put the back up sites on the one im getting with my red dot. definitely want to go with the co witness.

            Hi CJ,

            The LER weighs .50 lb by itself and .80 lb with a std height FTS mount. The Deluxe weighs .55 lb by itself and .85 lbs with the std height FTS. So there is .05 lb difference between the two optics.

              I really prefer the 1/3 cowitness IF you have a fixed front sight. If it's a flip sight then get the absolute. I think seeing your front sight post obstruct your view renders your red dot useless. Your primary method of aiming needs to take precedence.

                    Yeah I've been very pleased with their response time. So only 1oz eh? It feels like a tank and significantly heavier than my red dot.

                        Got mine today, got it mounted, and with a couple minor adjustments it was co-witnessed with my iron sights.

                              Ok, so mine came today also, but it has a huge blob of shit just inside the rear lens. I emailed them asking about it and they responded with " thats the resin that holds the led in". Is this normal?
