Quite possible. I had it at a house party a few years ago and couldn't leave until the next morning.

btw if you live in the metro it will be impossible to bug out. All roads will be impassible with every junker broken down in the middle of every bridge

The people idea's with heading into the woods isnt as great as you make it out to be.

Just think of all the people that have the same idea. People always end up by a river of some form of a fresh water source.

I'd find the place where you gotta dig a well for your water. With everyone heading to open sources of water it will be contaminated quick.

No real plan, just some food and water stores, a few guns and my truck. Hopefully it would be enough for any natural disaster that doesn't take out my house. My future plan is to purchase rural land with a pond and a well.

I don't think anyone here has any illusion it's going to be "easy" by any means but someone with any plan is lightyears ahead of the "Where's FEMA?" Crowd.

Smaller towns where everyone knows each other will fare well, provided they can band together, defend their resources, and live long enough to utilize them. A really hard time will be hell on game. A kitchen garden and old-time canning methods will be of unexplainable importance. If you know a rancher with a lot of cattle, offer to defend his herd, in exchange for beef. Good luck, everyone.

That would be the scariest fucking scenario i could think of. The average intelligence of this forum is about the equivalent of a loose door knob.

There's plenty of uninhabited land up here, and we have the benefit of LOTS of streams and rivers and lots of rain year round. I think down there that's a more valid point than broadly speaking.

Maybe if its offroad, but the streets will be impassable and will have people inbetween the cars

I don't but there is only one main freeway that goes west bound and the roads that go north and south are mostly two-lane.
