My office has a safe in it loaded up with a fuckton of guns and ammo. Have enough food there to last a while I guess. Give me 5 minutes notice and I walk across the highway to our warehouse where I have 3 safes with a fuckton of guns and ammo, body armor, night vision, vehicles, fuel, food, wine, beer, and liquor. If I can get to the warehouse and have at least 4 or 5 people there with me I bet we could hold it for a very long time.
Give me a days notice and I get to the airplane, fly to my lakehouse on the end of a peninsula (that happens to be stocked with a fuckton of guns and ammo) and ride it out.
I would like to add that I am not a prepper, and my collection of firearms is not the result of me thinking society is going to meltdown anytime soon. I just enjoy marksmanship and putting my money into non-depreciating assets.

I love to use a natural dissaster as to my wife as to why we buy an extra giant pack of TP, extra 5gl water cooler jugs, extra shelf stable foods, extra 50# propane tanks, etc. etc. When i tell her it is for the zombies she just looks at me and tilts her head like my dogs do when I try to explain shit to them.

My family just bought 50 acres out way past Greenville my parents just picked up for this reason, I always have at least 10 gallons of gas cause im in the lawn business. But my mom & Dad & brother & our whole family has talked about this in great detail, We have been talking about preparring for economic breakdown. You guys raise alot of good points on the fuel issue to get to your place to lay low. My brother & Dad are huge gun fanantics & have a stockpile of them with ammo. Hell they already stored a bunch on the property.

We are all wanting to live in RVs & off solor energy to run just simple things to run tools to build with. They want me to start getting mules & cows & chickens & shit & start getting the equipment to farm with that hook up to mules. But that shit is hard to find used. We also are having a well put in for fresh water & already have a good size creek that runs through the property for our crops. Its coming guys, Its just a matter of when

if i'm in my apt in dallas my first plan is to GTFO of dallas.. quickly

grab what i can(guns water food) and jump on the motorcycle so i can get out of the city as quick as possible. might look funny but would also strap my bicycle to my back so if/when the bike runs out of gas i can still travel at a decent rate of speed. once i get out of the city i will try amd ke it to about 4 or 5 safe houses i know of that are full of supplies. reevaluate the situation from there and decide what is next

for the people with only a car or truck i strongly suggest in investing in a working bicycle. first thing that is going to happen when SHTF is the roads will be a parking lot. best thing to have would be a dirt bike but bicycle will get you father than nothing

Unless something very major happens I don't plan on leaving, plenty of gas, diesel, propane easy 6 months of food, well water, and guns and ammo.

This, it will not be like in the Movies we will have to go to hell and back to survive. and for us that have small children it will be even harder.

If it's an Argentine-style inflationary period, I'll just keep going to class, and ride my bicycle everywhere. If it's a full out societal collapse, I have no choice but to hole up at the house until things stabilize, then be a foot soldier in AlP's army.
