I have a XDM and an XDS. XDS is a great carry gun but only holds 5 rounds. You can get a extension mag to hold 7.

No shit. The OP only asked for two options and the USP was not one of them.

I vote G-23, I love my G-32 and carry it everywhere I go. I only have it stacked with 7 rounds that makes it even that much more carry friendly.

My every day carry gun is a sub-compact XD40. It shoots very well, carries nicely with an in-the-waistband holster at the 1 o'clock position and I've never had a problem with it FTF or FTE. I also carry it with the extended mag, so I have 13 rounds total.

I've only shot a Glock 17 so that is my only comparison. I like the way the XD feels in my hand and for a 3" barrel shoots pretty damn good groups.

6 Less rounds make that much difference in carry comfort?

                I also carry a G-32 every day...
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

come on where is the sense of humor? it is expected of him to post an HK offering. it is just the way things are.

of the two I would go XD but I am partial to them since I own quite a few of the SA XD guns myself. nothing wrong with a glock though.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I like it when people provide me with good alternatives to things I am thinking about purchasing.

Weight for me, more rounds make the gun heavier. And really you only need a few rounds. How many times (other than LE) have you heard of multiple rounds begin fired by non LE in a shooting. Most of the time it was one or three. That being said I do carry a full magazine in the car just in case zombies attack and im out on the road.

Kind of like thread count on bed sheets, huh? I'm sure that makes a huge difference to YOU people when comparing 300 vs 1000 thread count.

Gots to be comphy whilst making a statement.

Umm. Not a sub compact, and the absolute worst trigger on a >$500 gun I've ever seen. No. Fucking. Thanks.

See above. I'm waiting for the day that I see someone shoot a p30 well. If you have small hands, the S/A might not be too bad.

The OP specified a glock 23, which is a compact (not a sub compact).

Yes, and a few posts down, we clarified what class of gun would be comparable to a sub compact XD.
