Eh, I don't really have a preference. The finish on the metal mags can get scratched off, but it's a gun...not a barbie. That's why I bought this set of 10, best of both worlds. Magpul anti-tilt follower plus the durability of aluminum...not saying Pmags aren't durable, just curious on their tolerances of warping over time.

I cant stand metal mags. I've got enough p mags to last me a lifetime, but i do have a few metal mags as well.

The only alum. mags I have anymore are the 6 the armory issued me. I used to have a big stack of them but sold them to a guy at work and bought a bunch of polymer mags.

as for an AW ban it wont happen again, to many stats prove that aw weapons are not the cause of violence, and arent not used in most domestic cases.

Since when have facts gotten in the way of a law? They'll try again. Obama has already said he'd sign another ban. Now will another law get introduced? I think eventually they will try again on the scale of the originall AWB or bigger it's just a matter of time before they try it again.

heh, this is what it boils down for me as well - which is why I mainly have 30 round mags too. Ain't spending extra for the 20 round mags.

Where there is no logic, you can't just expect logic to creep back in and take hold. Well at least in this situation..... where fear is the motivating circumstance , not logic.(or God forbid someone look at some damn statistics too)
