Yeah, just don't think it's very quality. The DefendAR is a much higher quality piece.

I agree completely. The SBS slidefire is about as good as Slidefire is going to make it for $350. I sold my slidefire and if I replaced it, it'd be with a DefendAR. I probably won't be purchasing another bump-fire stock.

I'll be pretty close to done with mine this weekend. My host gun, without barrel, weights in at 3lb 8.8oz. The barrel would be here already, but it was on a train that derailed in Oklahoma. Weight is important because I mainly want it for .22LR duty.

I put the rifle on a weight loss program. I turned the barrel down to a pencil profile, milled the shell deflector, removed the ejection cover, forward assist parts, and swapped the flash hider with a thread protector. Now I stand at 4lb 15oz. I still haven't tested it on .22 yet, if it fails, i'll have to do more trigger work.

Shaved off another 5 ounces by removing the gas block. It comes in JUST under 5lbs with the cheapo red dot. It feels like a toy at this point. I still havn't even fired it yet.
