Serious question for the LEO's on here about CHL holders.

Went to a buddies house last night for a end-of-summer pool party and me and a few of his other buddies got into a discussion about Concealed carry and guns and an interesting question came up. I've been carrying 2 different guns now for several years off and on but after getting my CHL last spring I chose what I consider an easily concealable CCW and have carried almost 100% since....wal-mart, gas stations, movie theaters, restauraunts...essentially anywhere thats legal. I've walked by numerous LEO's, and even struck up conversations with them occasionally...while carrying...and no mention was ever made about it by any of them which makes me think they can't see it.
Question is.....in a normal setting such as in a store or gas station...if an average joe is minding his own business paying for gas or shopping and a LEO while surveying the people in the store see's ANY type of slight bulge from the small of the back (could be a pocket knife pouch, wallet, or a CCW in a waistband holster) would YOU approach the subject to discuss it if they are not behaving unusually or would you let them go about their business?

Seems to me I would have no probable cause to approach this individual if he is acting completely normal...I would not bother this individual

I've had people ask if I was carrying because of my iPhone (I wear it on a belt clip).

Ive asked a customer (when I worked in service) about it. After he got out of his car I noticed a box of .45acp ammo in the drivers door, and a box of 9mm in the pass door. He was a big white dude, and had a thing that looked like a 20 cd case he took inside with him. His Accord had the bad rear brake pad wear out problem, but thankfully Honda finally had a fix for it. After he gave the OK to do the work, I mentioned the ammo in the doors and kinda made a reference to the case. He was cool about it, said the 9mm box was for his GF that also carries. lol I was trying to build some rapport, and after talking to the customer I decided to get a chl.

I would never bring it up to a complete stranger. I do look for it though.

when the chl first passed my uncle got one immediately and used a zip-up day planner to carry it around when it wasn't comfortable to tuck
