  • Winchester 94 value?

A friend of mine recently offered up a Winchester model 94 lever gun in 30-30 for sale. He got it in an inheritance, has never used it, and it looks to have been shot rarely if at all. Its an older rifle but i am unsure of the year.

I am not familiar with the value, so I thought I would ask. what would be a good price for it?

    Thanks for any info.

I'm assuming it's a .30-30. You need to know the year it was made. Pre 1964 rifles are sought after and usually bring a little more than Post-64. $300-600 depending on condition, possibly more depending. Need to see pictures and get info.

CJ is right on the value dollar for a model 94. Here is a site that you just put your sr# in and
it tells you the year of manufacture. Like CJ said pre-64 are worth a bit more. Not as much as days gone by.

I got a look at it today. Its got a little wear. The serial is a 1975 production date.
I'll try and post the picture I took.

Why assume when its stated that it is a 30-30?

Why assume that I assumed that you did?

I'll give you $20 and half a 40oz Steel reserve for the rifle sight unseen.

that would look good next to my 94 in 22mag that my dad bought for me just as I was born. I've wanted a lever 12 gauge since I saw terminator 2 the first time.
