I've seen some decent deals lately but its all been oddball stuff. I remember a few dealers with pretty decent prices doing no tax if you paid cash back around '04.Comment

I went to a few local shows to hunt down my chosen CCW and found one at Lewisville for a good price, but over the course of several weeks I found that most tables and vendors were on average anywhere from 20% all the way to 50% higher than on-line prices...and were even higher than what I could go to Cabellas or Academy and pay at retail prices for the same gun. I've seen ammo prices up to double what I could pay at Wal-Mart for the exact same ammo. I would say its cool to walk around and FF all the guns...but figuring in the typical 20-50 mile drive depending on venue.....then parking fee, then admission price....FUCK the gun shows.Comment
