Ah I gotcha. Whats the cost on that Tanfoglio? I have heard good things about them.

I also liked the way these felt in my hand. The Magnum Research Baby Eagle.

~$1000 for that particular model, but that's a hot rod of a gun. You can get them without all of the goodies starting at $400 for the standard, $550 for the elite, etc.

The one pictured is single action only, and the trigger is very good for an out of the box gun, adjustable for pre-travel, over-travel, etc.

The less expensive guns are DA/SA.

That's basically a CZ75 clone with a slide mounted safety. They're generally good guns.

I've got a Taurus PT92 (Their Beretta 92 copy) I got in a trade I'm taking to the range to try out tomorrow. I've got a RIA 1911 in 9mm already so most likely won't keep it if I can get a decent trade/price for it.

I pretty much feel the exact same way, something about the 92 just doesn't fit me. I don't have a CZ, but I have shot them and really like them. I do however have 2 XDs and and XDm and they are all great.

If it's any help, Chris, I fucking love my P226 Elite. Adam makes fun of me for liking it so much, and not my Commander, but I don't care.

I love my beretta 92. In fact, if I had to get rid of all of my hand guns except for one, then that one would unquestionably be my H&K mark 23. If however I could keep two, then I would keep the mark and my 92.

I have probably shot my 92 more than any other pistol I own. I have used it in IDPA competitions, I qualified with it in CHL class, I have loaned it to other people to qualify with, I have gotten at least 3 other people including my old man to buy them because they just shoot so damn well, and it is just a solid firearm. After over 2,000 rounds (ok so I don't shoot pistols that much), it has not jammed or given me any trouble.

                    Pros-
                    Ultra reliable firearm
                    Cheap parts
20 round capacity with mec gar mags (18 with the low caps)
                    Fits my hand well
                    Great sights
                    Long sight radius
No tilting barrel (no Nielsen device required for suppressor use)
                    Long barrel, and great accuracy
Great looking firearm (if you care about this)
Very low recoil (my go to gun for teaching new shooters)
                    DA/SA with decocker

                    Cons-
Big ass pistol that dwarfs every other handgun I own except the mark
                    Heavier than most other wonder-nines
People will approach you at the range to tell you how stupid the switch from 1911 to 92 was every goddamn trip
Changing the front sight requires drilling and tapping (at least on older models)
Lots of external parts and mechanisms (not a big deal for a civvie I suppose, but whats there is there)
Only the new guns have captive recoil springs
They have gotten expensive lately (I remember when people complained about them hitting the $500 mark)

Anyways, that is my take on the pistol. If you would like you are more than welcome to try mine out, along with my CZ/P30 and whatever else strikes your fancy... but in my opinion the Beretta takes the cake.

Highpower, that's all that is needed in a 9mm pistol.

They do make a single stack version as well. I'd buy one of those for sure.

Its a smooth , and accurate as hell firearm. But the size of it and the price is whats gets me. Taurus makes a good copy if you want to get out on the cheap.
