For those of you into the 2nd Amendment and believe in the right to bear arms, I hope that all of you are members of the NRA, They are the strongest opposition we against the anti-gun, far left, socialists, like Reid, Ossama, Peilosi, Boxer, Feinstein, Marx, Stalin and alike who yearn for the day when they can disarm law abiding Americans. Do these Anti-Gun democrats really think banning assault weapons and ammo clips will stop any thing. Look at Mexico, They have some of the most tightest gun control laws in the world, Yet it is has the highest murder rate in the world. More people were murdered in Mexico then the rest of the civilized word combined. Join the NRA today and protect your rights. And, no, I am not a spokesperson for the NRA, Just a concerned American watching the Constitution get taken apart piece by piece by The new regime.

Man I hope you are right.

I really don't want to be able to tell my kids "yeah, I was around when the second AWB was passed"

I won't put anything past our politicians these days with all the back room deals and bullshit to further each other's careers/financial status.

Would this also apply to handguns?

As per the text of the amendment, yes.

Also you would not be legally allowed to sell or give away your pre ban magazines. Your kids/spouse could not even inherit them.

                  *unless it's for a .22, because .22's don't kill.

If you can, buy more; you will never know when you need nothing.

I guess you could list them on your NFA Trust if you have one now?

Interesting theory, possibly - but that wouldn't last long, I don't believe anyone but the trust originator can amend the trust. So after your offspring/signers die off, it's done.

Most people didnt read the ammendment.

The no transfer only applies to mags made on the date of enactment. All mags made before are exempt from the law. All new mags made on enactment forward would have a date and serial number on them. The serial numbered mags would be the banned ones.

I'm sure this is just some hacked up segment removed from a previous bill they've tried to pass. They keep these things filed under "M" for mass shootings, and pull them out whenever one happens.
