Yes, I have Crossbreed gun belt that has been great and it makes all the difference in support. I would order another Crossbreed belt if I needed one. I read somewhere online that the Butscher's belts weren't as stiff as the Crossbreed and didn't offer quite as much support.

So a normal belt vs a special gun belt, it actually makes a difference? Is it bearable using a crossbreed type holster and a normal Walmart belt?

They difference I have noticed is the thickness and stiffness of the leather. For instance my Old Navy leather belt holds my pants up fine, but put a gun on it (in the butchers holster) and it holds, but not as tight/close as I want it to. The Old Navy belt kinda stretches whereas the other one does not. It is doable, but I prefer the stiffer belt.
