Yes they did, I bought 700 round and it rang up at $28.97. They honored the price on the shelf of $25.97. The clerk also stated that the price will increase to be inline with the other brands. Don't know how true that is but taking advantage of that price while it's available.

I bought out the entire shelf they had here. Rang up $28.97 and they honored the shelf price as well. I guess they can't be bothered with changing the label which is fine by me!

Walmart also is still selling the Remington UMC 9mm JHP ammo in 100 packs for $26.97 (picked up a box tonight). Granted its not PREMIUM state-of-the-art Speer Gold Dot or PDX....but I've seen a few reviews that tested it and found it to be pretty decent defense ammo that feeds well in most guns.

You need to keep in mind however.....the UMC Mega packs (250 rds) that most stores like Wal-Mart and Academy stock....are NOT HOLLOW POINT ammo...they are FMJ. The UMC that I'm talking about IS Jacketed Hollow Point and meets the standard for expanding self defense ammo. It breaks down to about .26 cents per round.

Just to piss everyone off I've got my .223 plinking 55gr M193 ammo down to a unit cost of 8.5 cents. The cheapest I've ever loaded ammo in my life. That's $85 for 1,000 rounds of ammo, 3150fps 16"

I paid a little more for my mags but I'm going to wait on ammo till this craze is over. Should see the bottom fall out on ammo prices after the ban even if it does happen
