Got the kid a 22 last weekend. We have been working with gun safety with a daisy bb gun for a year now, and I told her when she was six I'd get her one.
We went to the range and she did well. She can't wait to go back now. Call me a happy dad!

Love it. I have been tempted to buy one for my girl so many times. We started with a bb gun around 6. I finally let her shoot my marlin 60 this past fall at 10. The same one I got at 14 (I'm now 39). She did so good from all the practice we had done (with air-soft and BB guns). Now she says she needs her own .22 just like mine. Cant resist here is a pic. The cricket is too small for her now, but I love that your girl is shooting it. I am a happy dad too.
