I practice hip firing, off hand, one handed and a "covered draw". Everyone with a CHL should IMO, because situations like that guys where you can go John Wayne clear shoot are rare.

If someone hasn't fired in a situation where you are looking at an armed enemy who is already pointing a weapon, you really can't say much. Adrenaline and shaking fucks up your aim unless you've trained that down. I'm deadly with a rifle in combat, but that's because I can control it with both hands and my shoulder. A pistol? I haven't had the opportunity but I do hope I have the hit rate of this gentleman.

Not everyone can pull a Chris Kyle and take out two guys trying to rob him before they got a shot off

I have shot timer, anyone want to go against it and two paper targets let me know.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

A timer doesn't criss-cross on the way out the door or potentially shoot back, nor do paper targets.

Thanks for the clarification. I retract my statement. Maybe someone can find some mondays.

Looked like they dropped and ran, with no firing back?

                  What gives?

Well, they do have moving targets and you get shot with sim rounds I guarantee you it teaches you to react under fire

He stopped the threat and did a good job of it.

I haven't yet...I'd like to eventually take some of the courses at Shoot Smart when time permits. I'd prefer to do what I can so that if I ever have to pull, i'll have the proper mindsent and control. But before you even run with that statement, no where did I state that I'm some tacticool shooter with a 100% contact rate.

To those of you that read my posts as me claiming to be the grand master at shooting, stance, close combat fighting or whatever...I never said that. I merely stated that I was glad no one else was hurt and some people took that statement and twisted it to no end.

Then you're just speculating. You should practice.
