I was thinking the same thing. I also figured that he would have gotten more shots on target. As gay as it sounds the old dude had excellent form, lol. I know that they say in the heat of the moment that you are roughly 40% as good as you are when you are calm at the range. I guess this probably proves that a little bit.

Took my 89 year old grandfather to lunch on Monday when he told me about almost shooting two Mondays a few weeks ago. He was home mid afternoon, like always - he is old, when he heard knocking then banging on the front door. Not expecting company he ignored them. A minute later they were at the back door doing the same. He flung the door open pistol in hand and asked the two young Mondays "do you want to get shot?" He said neither answered but scooted down the driveway and ran away instead. Fucking people. If he would have had to shoot those two fucks I think I would be suing their parents for the cost of the bullets and the emotional trauma it would have caused my old WWII Marine vet.

It would have been a fair fight. He ain't no typical 89 year old man. They would have won but not before he made them pay something for their efforts.

It may have been a different story if he would have killed one or both and there was no footage. More gun control outcry would ensue and there would have most likely been some sort of racial angle introduced. A defense attorney would have absolutely used the "gun was rusty and empty" tactic. This is one reason why i am all for security cameras being in public establishments.
