  • Seriously....

I've come to the conclusion that 99% of the worlds population are worthless. My dad sold a rifle to someone about 10 years ago and I'd like to get it back. The rifle is as it was sold, same glass etc. The guy wants more than he paid for the damn thing. It's not a collectable rifle, it hasn't appreciated at all, the only value it holds is sentimental and the faggot knows this. Should I inform him that he is a piece of shit? My magic 8 ball says yes.

Why did your Dad sell it?
You really can't be mad at the owner of the rifle for giving you the "chance" to buy it back.

Yeah, the guy probably just bought it to hold onto it for about 10 years for you...for free.

Could have said it's not for sale, but everything has a price...

You aren't paying for a rifle, you are paying for your dad's rifle. Fork over the dough if it means that much or move on.

He's a cocksucker for wanting more, but if it holds sentimental value to you, buy it back. After that deal goes down smooth, then tell him he's a piece of shit.

Just count your lucky stars he's willing to sell it, could be much worse.

I see this from either side.

If you want it, pay for it. If not, move on and do something else.

you have to be joking, right?

So he's worthless because he wants to make a profit on something he bought 10 years ago? Seriously?

I suppose you want him to sell it to you for less than what he paid, right?

Somewhat similar story, but it shows that cops aren't completely worthless. My dad had somebody break in to his gun cabinet back in the late 80's and stole a couple of rifles. Well in like 2005, the Richland Hills police department called him and told him one of his rifles was found at a pawn shop. Crazy shit. More similar story is that he sold his 1979 Trans Am around the same time then in like '98 the guy called him saying he was gonna sell it and wanted to know if my dad wanted it back, my dad asked how much and he was asking like $7,000 more than he bought it for. It was just a basic TA with too many miles to be considered a collectible. My dad just laughed and told him good luck.
