NFA wait times decrease

My Form 1 went pending March 14th and was approved July 30th

Ident adding an additional 6 week wait time.....
Wish now I would have had it done while waiting on approval.

You always want it engraved first. If Ident fucks up your receiver you just wasted 4 months and $200. 4 months is super suspiciously quick.

No, I'm just saying that's suspiciously quick as in maybe they are making changes to the process. Okay that makes a little more sense, 5 month time.

So if it's really decreased to 5 months, ATF cashed my check on 4/24/12...so possibly *fingers crossed* late Sept to Early October for me?

My last few were damn near 5 months to the day from PENDING. I called in July to check on status and the guy that answered said it would be middle of Sept so I was surprised when I got it back so soon....

My last wait was 7 months, but I expect to get my next one in around 5 months if the trend continues, it has no signs of flattening out so far.

I just called the NFA branch and the lady said since my form went pending April 11th I will probably get my form 4 back in October. Fuck.

I doubt that, she's just giving you worst case scenario. They always do that.

I just called too, pending April 18 and she said mid October. Form 4 for trust. I'm thinking by the end of the month will be approved. Hopefully.

No clue. They seemed positive on it though and I take their word over what they reported over a bunch of Internet warriors who insist on calling everyday.
