Shoot Smart tactical AR 15 class?

I would be very skeptical about any class that is $60. What is your goal from the class? Basic Introduction, advanced manipulations, combat type dynamic drills, long range accuracy, etc.

Does your hand guard have a heat shield?

Yes it does and that’s all I shot thru it the 60 rnds, left it out the bag for it to cool down while I shot my hand gun and it was still warm when I went to put it in after 15 min.

For a beginner, 60 isn't too terrible for 3 hours as long as you aren't expecting to do stuff from the magpul videos.

The main reason to take it would be to take the 2nd and 3rd class.

That's a huge jump in cost, but it's actual training. This seems to be very much a basic introduction to the platform.
