Looking for a good gun safety/operation/CHL class for my mother and aunt.

With all the shootings in the news lately and stories of home invasion/robbery/car jackings/murders I have finally gotten my mother on-board with taking a gun class with hopes that she might get a permit and conceal gun...but at the very least she might get a home defense weapon and know how to use it (she is a widow and other than myself living with her temporarily she lives alone). My aunt who is going thru a nasty divorce has temporarily moved in with her and is a prior victim of a home invasion and she DOES have an expired out of state CHL as well as a S&W .38 police special and has volunteered to take the class with my mom so she can get current on her license. My mother has 0 experience with guns of any kind....if fact I don't think she has EVER fired one and she needs a VERY hands on class to teach her the do's and dont's of guns (pistols, rifles, shotguns). If anyone knows of a good place to start this process that isn't too expensive please lemme know. Hell I'd be willing to participate if I thought it might help.

My fiance took an intro to handgun class at Great Southwest, she has been shooting a few times, and given the basics from me, but really found it to be worthwhile. She said there were a number of people there who had never even held a gun prior to the class.
