I really *really* doubt the convergence on those barrels is any good. I bet at 200 yards you have a 2-3 foot gap between the two impacts. Double barreled rifles are extremely hard to do correctly.

They would probably be better off ignoring convergence and just sighting them in independently. I think the gun's application as a port firing weapon is pretty valid.

good point - you stand over there, get your friend over there, okay fight.

I bet the recoil would be pretty killer too.

Silver Shadow was one of the exhibitors at Eurosatory, and I got to hold one of their double barrel AR's. I felt that the hand guards were way to big to hold as they were ridiculously bulky. If you don't have a foregrip then prepare for awkward positions during an actual firefight. They also have something called the corner shot, for firing through close encounters around corners, once I post pics of them here you will see why its a useless innovation, its a breakdown verson of an m4 pistol without a buffer tube. I have no idea how its suppose to eject or re-chamber. But LOL, reminds me of the double barrel .45 1911, Mr Fal from the Maglula corp, which was right in front of Silver Shadow said its a stupid invention and a waste of resources, and I agree. If you have a full auto rifle what is the point in wasting double the ammo when a longer delay on the release on the trigger would be just as deadly.

                    As promised,

and here is the corner shot

                    donde va el buffer tube??

Corner shot was developed by the Israeli's and originally was a just a Glock mounted on the device. First time I've seen it with an AR.

There's at least one design of the AR that has no buffer tube. They use some kind of modified bolt carrier that has the recoil spring over it with the tail end cut off so it will cycle far enough to feed and chamber the next round.

The corner shot has been around for a while now. But as stated above it's the first time I've seen one with an AR on the front.
