Taurus Tracker 357 for Rem 870 Tactical...

I've been wanting a revolver for awhile and came across a person willing to try a 4" Taurus Tracker 357 for my Remington 870 Tactical (Just the basic one with bead site and breacher).

As far as I can tell, it seems like a decently fair trade. Both guns are in good but used condition (nothing majorly wrong). Seem fair to y'all or at least good to me?

cringe @ .357 Taurus revolvers, they have tendencies to blow up. I would really reconsider. My personal opinion would be to use that $300 from the shotgun to get yourself a decent revolver that's just a little more, like a Ruger.

Hell, sometimes Rugers are a little less on the used market. +1 for passing on this deal.

I've had a Taurus Tracker .357 for about 10 years now, no problems.

That being said, I don't know that I would buy another one.

Was it just an issue with the newer Tarus's? Never had an issue with mine but it's a .38 Special M85.

I've never really done the homework to find out which one it was, but the failure rate is really high compared to other revolvers.

I've been on a Taurus message board and hear them bitching about it. Considering it's something that should be "bulletproof" it's really unacceptable along with the fact that Taurus sucks for warranty work from what I hear. But it's still hard not to think about it considering how cheap they are, almost makes me want to chance it LOL!
