I just do a lot of shopping every 1st pay day of the month and buy about 1k to 1500 rounds. I check out lots of sites and buy from the cheapest with shipping included. Some places will have free shipping if you order enough and most places you can find coupons for to cover the cost of shipping.

If they stock it! The Wal-Mart in Valley Ranch has been out for weeks, I went to the Wal-Mart in Roanoke and picked up 5 boxes of 9mm just because they had it.

I think you can have a handgun at 18 but can't buy one or purchase pistol ammo until 21

You can buy from a private party in Texas under 21 you just can't buy from an FFL holder.
