.45 super is dimensionally identical to .45acp, so yes.

Tell you what, if you load some .45 super we can shoot it in my USP to test it out.

Well yes it's dimensionally the same, my witness shoots .45 super. I just don't remember if a USP has a full supported chamber like the MK23.

I assume it does, I will check it when I get home though.

Hell, we can shoot all the super in the world out of the Mark 23

You buy the brass I'll load you some .45 Super and we can chrono it. Starline sells .45 super brass.

As for the USP, I *believe* mine had only a partially supported chamber, I can't recall.

If so many have failed, then why does over 65% of Law enforcement still issue them to this day? Guess they want their hands blowing off the police officers?

Only reason you hear about about this happening to glocks and not other pistols is glock dominates the handgun market. Sure youre going to hear about their problems before others.

As for the gen4's, it wasn't every single gun that was recalled, it was only a couple models having problems. That problem was only due to weak load ammunition

I understand your reasoning, and I reiterate the fact there are multiple people on this very board - this small sample of shooters - that have had glocks blow up in their hand. I own a glock, I've shot many of them. I know them well enough not to suck their plastic dongs. Police purchase glocks because they are simple (DAO), cheap (ever seen a bulk glock order?), and in some departments they provide maintenance at much cheaper rates. Glocks work, that I do not deny. However, they also have had a checkered history of blowing up. If you think they are infallible I'll give you 500 cast bullets and a Glock 22 and you can go to town. It will blow up in your hands. Great guns, very reliable. Perfect guns? No.

I can't believe I'm a witness to this momentous occasion! Buzzo has actually typed more than one sentence!

Because they are cheap, they market the shit out of them, and they suck the guy at the department in charge of requisitioning's dick.

They are also easy to put into the lyrics of a rap song, so black people like them.

Nope, it was every single gen 4 that used the new recoil spring setup.

so youre saying any random glock will blow up in use with 500 rounds of good ammo???

Again, the only people having guns blow up are people using shit ammo.

My cast ammo is top of the line case, primer, and power. Formed with the proper hardness and hornady bullet molds, perfectly spec ammo. You bring your glock, and you won't make it through 500 rounds without it blowing up.

I will pay you $1,000 if you can fire all 500 rounds without it going kaboom.

I'll buy the cheapest ammo cheaperthandirt makes, and I will take you up on that bet. I wouldn't fire 500 rounds of ammo either of you load in a .22 if you paid me 5000.00
