I like my Glocks, I shoot cast reloads in them. I've got aftermarket barrels for them because (I've read) the factory barrels are looser to improve reliability, and shooting full pressure .40 S&W, 10mm, and .45 Super in a loose barrel isn't the best for case life, and I'm cheap. They're good guns - not the best, not junk. Get one if it's comfortable and you like it.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyHOORAY ME and FUCK YOU!

I like my Glock 22 (Gen3)
I like my Springfield XD 4"
I liked my Taurus 1911
I liked my Glock 23
I liked my Taurus PT92
I love my EAA Witness. Actually...both of them
Best part, I have only paid $300 for each of my EAA's, they are inexpensive but really good handguns.
If you ever want to try out the compact or the full size, I will bring them if there is ever a range GTG.

Everyone on the Mineral Wells PD is "issued" sigs last time I checked. I have a good friend that works for MWPD and a bunch of them were working a concert out at PK lake. Storm came in and about 20 mins later each of them had this rust colored spot on their shirts where their pistols were rubbing on their white shirts. Screw that noise.
Oh and by "issued" I mean the department buys you a SIG and then you pay them back over time. He tells me they don't allow them to carry anything else.2004 Suzuki DL650

I really like my XDM .40 feels great and shoots great just do not buy a cheap POS gun because it will always be a cheap POS gun live and learn IMO. Also do not be afraid to spend money on it because guns are the only hobby that I have ever had that held resale as long as you get a quality gun.sigpic

If you can buy a glorified piece of shit that is hard to shoot accurately for $300 or a good, usable service weapon for $400, then why on earth would you steer people towards the piece of shit?
Buy a gun that will shoot well, and learn to be proficient with it. Don't buy a gun that will only make proficiency an impossible dream. Trust me, if Sigmas were that good, people wouldn't sell them the day after they shoot a buddy's glock/xd/sig/cz/hk/blah/blah/blah.
