Got an email from my wife this morning. Her friend who is a single young female that lives alone was at her apartment last night, making herself a snack. She went from the kitchen to her bedroom to do some thing and while she was in the room a man broke into her apartment. When she came back out he was in her kitchen. She was able to get to her 45 caliber pistol as he charged her. And as he grabbed her, she was able to get off a single shot hitting him in the knee, She then she ran from the apartment and called the police. Though he was able to flee before the police arrived, they found him today in a vacant apartment in the same complex bleeding on the floor.

Where as it's unfortunate he's not dead, I'm glad that she doesn't have to live with the fact that she killed a man. She's an only daughter with 13 brothers, all of whom are Marines, as is there father. She's one tough chick.

lol, my wife just just got home, and told me the rest of the story, She had just finished playing guitar hero at 1:30am, and was cooking snacks for the whole office the next day. she was in the bathroom when he got in the apartment. She saw his shadow under the door and at first thought it was one of her pet pythons out of its cage. She grabbed her 45 out of her bathroom (she also has a gun in the nightstand, and in the kitchen. She walked out and saw him. when he saw her he stopped riffling through her kitchen drawers. At witch time she told him to leave now and she didn't want to hurt him! That's when he ran at her. the rest is the same as my first post. Oh and she has a fiancee who flies F22's in the Navy.
