i want to get rid of my xd40sc because it'll probably be a little while until i get a chl.

what is the collective thoughts on a cz 75b or cz 85?

its an older model 226, has about 10,000 rounds through it because the guy my dad bought it from shot it in competition. it's in really nice condition though

Well I would hope if you had a CHL you would still shoot your subcompact at the range LOL! If you are looking for a range gun I could think of other guns I would prefer over a 226 like a nice single action 1911. Nothing wrong with a 226, it would make a nice night stand gun for home defense.

well of course lol....my thinking is if i'm not going to get a chl for a bit, i'm going to get a gun i can have a little more fun with..

it'll be just sitting in his safe so i could always trade back

well this was too easy of a deal to pass up.. i now have a sigp226, 7 mags, box of ammo, and a couple holsters

ya my dad is badass! he has a lot of guns, and i guess he loves me, so he hooked it up.

I love my roommate's 226. Gun is very sturdy, although it is VERY right hand oriented so its a bit of a drawback for me. I definitely wouldn't ever carry one, but for a fun gun on the range its a VERY nice piece. With the heft of the metal vs a typical polymer gun the 9mm feels like a 22 mag

cool, i feel really good about this trade now. even though my xd was brand new and pretty badass looking and a good shooter, this sig just feels really nice in my hand. has a great heavy feel to it.
