Just a FYI, but we got ours at Cabelas, and they matched CTD's price at 299.00 Cabelas was 369.00, but they honered it.

I love my wife's s&w 622. No idea what they should cost but I picked this one up for $100 used.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

I also have a Sig 1911-22. It is a very nice semi auto and has 80% parts commonality with the .45acp 1911's.
They are made by GSG for sig. Mine has been 100% reliable shooting CCI Blazer bulk ammo.

Edit. Nevermind, just saw you got a SR22. Nice purchase!

Loved the hell out of my MKII! Used to shoot dragonflys off stumps in the pond with mine.

Yes, the friend's dad has a Mark II and my father-in-law has a Mark III Hunter with 7" barrell. We shot all of them today. I'll admit, I liked the sr22 every bit as much as those, if not more.

I will agree that the SR22 has turned out to be a outstanding little pistol for its size and is a pretty damn straight shooter, bur comparing it to the Mark 111... Thats pushing it a little.

We took it out this weekend and ran a few hundred rounds through it and I was very pleased with it and the wife shot it really well. The perfect plinker. Would I enter it in a target compitition? Prolly not. Hard to compete with the long barrels.

EDIT: The only down side was the slide spring is a little too weak, or maybe I just need to break it in some. I noticed on a few reloading of the clips that when releasing the slide, a few times it didnt close completely. I'll break it down this week and run another few hundred through it in the next week or two.

                          A S&W 22a is the best deal on a .22 semi I know of.

The SR22 Marcus is referring to is mine. It was a B-day gift from my Dad. I have been shooting the Mark II my whole life and love that gun. It is for sure an amazing gun but for compact, light plinker the sr22 is great. Setup some plates or something fun and you will have a good time all day. We thrashed it all day Saturday with only one malfunction and it was a bad primer, not related to feed or ejection.

I was really excited about the SR22 until they never released a threaded barrel as promised. I ended up ordering an M&P .22, full frame, interchangeability with M&P holsters, threaded barrel, and it has a 12 round magazine.

The m&p was on my short list as well. I liked the full size, but at the same time the small size of the sr22 is nice so I can throw it in my back pack when out hiking or camping.
