They had some at the gun show this weekend at the Model 1 stand, probably 12-16 barrels. Sold out in the first half of Saturday. All they had left when I got there was complete uppers.

I have my eye on CMMG. Seem to be decently priced. Last I checked a guy over on 300blktalk.com had an 8" Noveske for sale for just over $300, but still steep.

I read on CMMG's site about their barrels being compatible with most suppressors. Is it safe to assume that means they are concentric threads?

cut it, plug it and re-drill just my 2 cents hardest part is setting the correct length for the pistol gas tube

How much is your time worth? Because mine is worth a lot more than that when A cheap barrel is $150 and a great barrel is $350

Based on my current employment; my time is pretty cheap.

I am glad I have my Model 1 9.5" "test" barrel already. lol Maybe one day when the hype dies down I will buy a good one, maybe.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

CMMG got back to me, it's a 4 week wait on a 8.5" $225 barrel. $249 if you want a gas block - pretty good deal. I ordered from them. This damn gun keeps getting shorter and shorter.

Thats not a bad wait considering the competition, IF they can hold up their end of it. I may have to get mine from them

As a subsonic rifle I know it doesn't matter... but just out of curiosity what type of volocity can you get out of 8"-9" barrel .300blk

Won a free can and jumped on this 300nlk train. Guess I need to dust off the reloading equipment, Im not paying $.90-$1.00/round through a machine gun.

But from what Ive read this is a pretty neat round.

If you have a registered M16 lower, can you put any upper you want on it?

It just won't be an M16.

The .300 blk is a low pressure round, the gains of a 16" barrel is really pathetic. The cartridge was designed for short barrels.
