I like the idea of a bigger caliber pistol but .380 is enough to get the point across

right now if I feel the need to carry something with me when doing a CL deal or something I just carry a little 25. Makes me feel better about meeting up with someone for stuff like that and the wife feels a TON better knowing I have something on me too.
I've been carrying my solid steel Norinco 213 9mm (comparable in size to a 1911) in an empty front pocket for years to do craigslist deals and make occasional late night stops in questionable stores. Its pretty heavy loaded up with hollow points but it was nice to know it was there a few times.

How big are your pockets? I can tell enough of a difference between my P238 and the wife's LCP to prefer the LCP for front pocket carry.

Love my Sig P238 but you are right in your comparison to the LCP. LCP weighs 8oz empty and P238 is 15oz. To me, that means LCP can pocket carry easy in gym shorts while Sig P238 is better in cargo/khaki shorts with a belt. The P238 is such a better shooter though that I accept the weight difference. :-)

Standard Levi blue jeans. Ordinarily I would say the Norinco is a bit heavy to pocket carry...the only reason I can get away with it is because the gun is so thin.

I should mention that I'm not buying this to go to the range and shoot a zillion rounds or anything like that just looking for a pocket carry pistol.
get an lc9 and ill trade you straight lol.. i have a few hydrashocks, some target ammo, a leather wallet holster

My normal pocket gun is a SP101 and it is very heavy. Can't hardly wait to pick up a new Springfield XD .45ACP.

How do you know it works perfectly if you haven't used it?
