What do you prefer? 26" or 28" barrel

I'm going to be adding an o/u to my shotgun collection before bird season starts this year and I was just trying to decide which barrel to go with. All my other shotguns are 28in so I'm use to shooting with that length. I know a 26in barrel will swing faster and I think they look better on o/u then the longer 28in barrels. Anyways just seeing what other folks like.

I would go 28" but then again my O/U has 30" barrels so I'm used to that general length.

If it's a gun you're going to use for hunting, try it out walking around the store with it, and while you do that, hold it with one hand, like you do when you're carrying it, and swing it in a slow arc towards your foot. If it doesn't clear, it's too long.

I would do 26" if you will be doing much walking, quail hunting, etc. and 28" for waterfowl, pass shooting, hunting with less walking......
