  • Where to sell more high end guns?

I know about gun trader but is it the best to get decent money for more collector type guns? I have three I am thinking about cutting loose. A 12 gauge Auto-5 gold trigger Belgium Browning made in the early 70's that is collectible due to something the way its shape is. (vauge but my Dad gave over 400 for it in 74 it being "high end" it has never been fired and only out of its original box to be cleaned)

A Browning 22 rifle from the 60's that is also a gold trigger Belgium. It is load from the stock and still is accurate as hell. The last is a 20 gauge Winchester Pigeon grade over under skeet gut with all the inlay. I know all three go for a lot on gun trader anywhere else I should check?

I don't mind doing the work to ship them via proper channels to a buyer. It just I don't need the guns anymore or the money. Just don't want to get hosed either.

    Thanks

****edit. Stupid me looked closer the 22 is not a gold trigger got it confused with my home defense browning pump shotgun****

The first 2 aren't really high end guns. Depending on the model the Winchester maybe; their Pigeon grade guns have always been the best that they can make.

Jackson Armory in University Park will buy them outright and Ray's Hardware in Dallas will put them up for sale on consignment and can/will give you a real world sales price for them.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Thank you. I guess I meant a snooch more high end. I know they are a bit more then "normal" guns. I have a bunch of Mauser action guns that my grandfather built and a bunch of shotguns like 1100's and such just these 3 are towards the top of the heap so to speak. Nothing like the super high end stuff....

I've had good luck buying and selling things on texashuntingforum.com
I wouldn't take a hit selling to a gun shop or on consignment.
