No parts commonality with P22, but it does have parts commonality with .45acp 1911's... Off topic but I am sure you will appreciate this. I thought our resident coyote was in my front yard the other night when I came home at 11:30p. I pulled my XD9 and flashlight out and proceeded to the front of the house where I thought I saw him. My wife came out and I told her to plug her ears, this might get loud.
