By the way, did you ever get your chrono fixed? Was it as simple as just buying new metal archways?
Yep! Working great now!

I still have it, I can not in good faith sell a pistol that functions so poorly to someone. I may take a weekend day to take it all the way down and clean every part on the gun, polish a few things, and try to get it running well.
I don't know, you must have gotten a "Monday morning" assembled P-22. I as well as my son have shot the living fuck out of our P-22 and I can't remember when it jammed last. I remember, my son dropped the mag, and bent a small lip on the feed end.
Several thousand rounds, slow fast to as fucking fast as the trigger will pull --- not one single jam.
I do like that ruger --- gold barrel--- not so much. Did you buy local?
I want to put a can on my PMR-30 -- that would be the cat's ass.
Thx,
Randy
Hey, hey, stop that. Simple mistake when the scope is cranked up past 12x. In good faith I bought extra rods. lol
Keith can feel free to shoot it 11 more times now

Looks awesome, minus the gold. I think I'm still gonna go with the SR22 Pistol, just waiting on some more long-term reviews to come out after people have had more time with them.
Hmm, no picatinny rail anywhere on that thing. I assume that's a steel sleeved aluminum receiver?

Trust me, go with the tried, true, and the proven. The SR22 may be a good gun, but the Buckmarks and MK series pistols are proven.
Walther and sig have sold a ton of their second rate 22s because the masses flock to the guns that look cool. Also, don't rule out a revolver.
The gun came with a weaver rail that I have not attached (I have no optic to put on it). The receiver is all aluminum. Here is a cutaway-
Interesting...22 ounces huh? That still can't be as light as the PMR-30. What does that thing even weigh?

I'm going to put a burris fastfire on one of pistols because they are fucking awesome. I just want to find a way to dovetail a receiver so I can keep it super low profile.

A PMR30 loaded weighs 20 ounces, but nobody has a threaded barrel for them yet.
Between these two guns, I would choose my PMR to take hiking/backpacking but this would be a close second. However, I bought it as a can host and I believe it will fill that role quite nicely.
I would like to get a little burris fastfire to put on top and get the VQ trigger upgrade, but I will play with it just like it is for now.

You could always thread the barrel yourself. Just thread it to a P22 spec and use a thread adapter. My concern is it blowing up on my ass because of the pressure spike and plastic construction. That's super easy to do by the way.

I am scared of that as well. Some people are already blowing theirs up.
Also, my suppressor is not rated for 22 magnum.
