    Is this as simple as zeroing in with irons and then and cowitnessing the eotech reticle to the irons and flipping them down?

      It has something todo with the height of the mount as far as cowitness.

      Id zero it with the irons down, and then flip them up.

        This works fine. Especially if you're already used to where you're hitting with the irons.

        An EOTech on the same plane as your flip ups should offer a true cowitness. They make risers if you prefer a bottom 1/3 cowitness.

          On my AR, I zeroed in the EOTech first. After a month or so I bought a BUIS and just simply cowitnessed where the EOTech was. Worked like a champ.
