I heard they are KABOOM prone.... Just what I heard...LOL
"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776
I'm selling mine soon....but in 9mm. I like it and have had no issues but when you start adding in sights and multiple guns ( full size and compact), it starts to get more spendy than I'd like
No experience with the XDm line but I own an XD9 and have shot an subcompact or compact XD40. Mine has been flawless over the years and hundreds of rounds. The .40 was a friends and it was his first time to shoot the new gun. I think we put about 200 rounds through it without any issues.
I have never looked into the XD line in .40 caliber but I haven't heard any kaboom stories. I thought that was Glock .40's and hot reloads but since I don't own a .40 caliber I haven't researched the kaboom issues.
I bought the XDM 3.8in. compact in .45 Auto. Love this son of a bitch. I dont use the extended grip magazine(aside from range duty) because I find it harder to conceal. I love the short grip. Ive been going to Elm Fork to do holster to target drills and it shoots flawlessly. Ive got only about 250 rounds in it without a jam. Like with any gun, just keep it clean and oiled. My last carry was an XD 3in. in .40.
A friend of mine has an XD .40 Sub-Compact and I'm extremely impressed with it. It has performed flawless for him. He probably has 500 rounds or more through it. It's very accurate, conceals well, and has a very natural point and shoot feel to it. I was very impressed with how soft it handled the recoil being a subcompact polymer gun in .40. I also like the grip safety.
thats bigger than i would want to carry 24/7, but i doubt you will find anyone to speak badly of the xd or xdm series of pistols.
edit: meaning me personally i am sure 1000's carry this and or larger framed pistols everyday. i'll stick with my 27
god bless.
What holster do you use for your 27? I bought one recently and tried to fit it into my CompTac holster (Kydex) for my Glock 36 and it's slightly off a bit on the draw. Was looking for cheaper alt, my CompTac was $75.
I have an xdm in 9mm. I really love it and I have had zero problems with it; I have put somewhere between 1,000 and 2,000 rounds through it since i
I have had it.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.
Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.
