They go for $725 new. $650 would be what I'd sell for if I were him, so if you buy it cheaper than that, you're doing alright IMO.

Are you sure about those numbers. I havent found one for less than 8 yet, but I'm pretty 223 ignorant.

That's basically the same rifle as my LPV except for mine has a detachable magazine and a laminate stock.
I'd let mine go for $750, and again, you're welcome to shoot it first.

Might want to inquire on twist rates savage offers several different varieties, not a huge deal but can make hell getting accuracy with certain ammo.
