The AAC weighs 2.5x more, you can't use it with .300 magnum, it isn't full auto rated, it doesn't suppress as well, and it costs more. You need to understand these two cans are not even in the same class. A direct comparison is the AAC Cycle to the SAS Stainless 7.62 for $595 - and it offers all of the above advantages, except it weighs 22oz - still less than the AAC. But, even still the Arbiter is cheaper than the AAC. And also, contact Jeff because I think you'll find the price is even better than you think. Tim at SAS is getting buried with orders, and more than likely he's going to raise his prices because honestly he's too cheap at the moment. I can't tell you what I actually paid for it, but I'd speak w/ Jeff about it because he can get you a great deal.
When I was researching suppressors I found the SAS to be the best for the money, it was very impressive. You can read many reviews over at snipershide on peoples experiences with them.
