  • Remington 700 .308 stock question

I have a Remington 700 .308, my father purchased an ultimate sniper stock for it, the issue I am having with it is that it doesn't have a floor plate, just an empty well basically. Can I just buy a floor plate or what can I do to fix it. I will post link to the stock.

Yep you need to buy the hinged floorplate magazine box and follower with spring. Midway usa sells parts, as does Brownells.

it will work with this specific stock? And it doesn't have a place for a magazine in the bottom, will that affect what I need

I had a Savage 12 in .308 mounted in a super sniper stock. The rifle had the blind magazine and worked in the sniper stock, but I usually just fed it 1 at a time from the bench...

I like the Choate Tactical Stock I have on my model 10 a lot better than the SS stock...

There isn't a specific stock on that website just a list of the available stocks.

OP, sent you a PM. You shouldn't have to buy any parts to make the new stock work...

I think what I need is an internal magazine if that makes any sense

Does your rifle have a hinged floor plate?

The internal magazine is the stock itself, you just need the spring and follower...

So yours is an ADL just a trigger gaurd. You can do the conversion like I said in my first post if the stock you get is for BDL (hinged floor plate) if the stock is still ADL then just use your factory pieces.

You can get the parts from all kinds of places online. Most reputable would be brownells or midway USA...
