They have some newer tactical marketed scopes that are around 3 and go up a bit from there, they were listed in the new midway catalog I was kinda surprised. Another scope I've been wanting to try is IOR they are said to have amazing glass, which they should since they buy schott which is owned by Zeiss.

I've heard good things about the USO (U.S. Optics) scopes as well as the IOR's...

Last time I read anything on USO they used Schott glass as well, I like the fact you can call them up and order a scope to your specs that's made in America.

You sure about that? Scroll to the bottom of the link, that is what I have. I was given the box and all it's contents and I called Leupold to verify the SN. The Leupold rep informed me that I have an 07 model.

Now about the FFP, not sure, but I don't think I have that on this scope. How can I tell if it does have the FFP?

It does have a side focus, is that the same as FFP?

If it has FFP, then your reticle will magnify along with the image when you turn the magnification ring up...

Thanks, I haven't had a chance to see what all the scope can do, so I wasn't sure. I'll bring the instruction book and try out all the features once I have it mounted atop the gun and sighting it in at the range.

                VX3's don't come FFP.
