Who here shoots 3 gun??

Just curious what you are running? I'm running a:

Glock 34
Remington 870 (soon to be a FNH SLP)
LaRue Tactical PredatAR 5.56

Just curious if anyone runs a FN, and how they like it. I'm going to shoot a guy's at the next match, and if I like it I'm going to take it off of his hands. He is going to cut me a pretty good deal if I like it.

XDm .40S&W or my XDm 3.8 in 9mm (I also bought a Springfield Range Officer, but I never got a chance to shoot it)

Standard DPMS AR-15 w/Aimpoint

If I like it (and I KNOW I will) I want to get the new Remington VersaMax Tactical that is coming out specifically with the 3-gun competitions in mind.

If you get into it you won't shoot the 500 or the aimpoint long. First stage where you have to lay down and shoot under something with the shotgun you will want to toss that thing in the trash, lol. Well not that bad, but you will wish that you had an autoloader.

Also, one of the guys that shoots with us has a gun shop. He said that he has sold 4 of the versamax's and shipped 3 back to remington for repairs. I'd just wait for a little while so that they can get the kinks out... or shoot an 1100 if you are dead set on rem.

Nothing wrong with that. I tell you what man, you never see a pump jam, lol. I have shot my 870 for around a year. So get good with that, and you'll be even better with an autoloader. Also, one of the best and most simple things ever said to me about shooting the shotgun in 3gun.... DON'T MISS, seriously, matches are won or lost on reloading the shotgun.
