OK, taking the CHL class this Saturday?

Will be doing the Texas Law Shield as well for me and the wife even though she will never get her CHL.

Do I need to do the finger prints before I do the on line registration?

They said the best way to do it was through the link at the end of the online registration. Otherwise it takes a couple of days to get in the system so you can get a fingerprinting appt.

Ok, I competed the class. Only one guy out shot me. Mainly due to a double tap I did. Outside of one bullet, I had the best grouping. But damn, it was a long day. The instructor was about as good as he could be under the circumstances.

But Texas just makes this class too too damn long. It is just bullshit. No more than 4 hours is needed.

And long story short is...........if you shoot someone, you will spend every last dime you have and then some to clear yourself. Our justice system is just fucked up.

Really not sure what good this license does?

"Your license" says that you should know better, and they'll hold you to much higher standards Barry. You/we just have to be extremely cautious and judicious when contemplating pulling your weapon.

Honestly, that is why I have a fast jap truck. So I can run! I would never pull the gun out unless I thought my life was in danger.
