if you are listening and paying attention(which you should), it will go by quickly and you shouldn't get extremely bored. i didn't

Well the state actually monitors the time pretty closely.

This is how mine was but the one I took was also split into three days.

              Spies yo!!

I took Venix's class, and I liked it because it was cheap. I actually don't remember a whole lot. I will have to re-read where I can and cannot carry (that is really all I care about).

Still haven't applied for my CHL...I am so lazy.

I just got done with my renewal today. 4 hours. I was in a class with all first time CHL holders after the range he gave me some stuff to read and then gave me my test and I left after that while they were going into the penal code stuff.

i was bored the majority of the time. i had a ton of complete gun noobs in my class though.

i am up for renewal this year and i am debating doing it honestly. i rarely carry and the only real benifit for me is skipping the nics check.

Ok, I competed the class. Only one guy out shot me. Mainly due to a double tap I did. Outside of one bullet, I had the best grouping. But damn, it was a long day. The instructor was about as good as he could be under the circumstances.

But Texas just makes this class too too damn long. It is just bullshit. No more than 4 hours is needed.

And long story short is...........if you shoot someone, you will spend every last dime you have and then some to clear yourself. Our justice system is just fucked up.

Really not sure what good this license does?

Pre-paid legal. There are lawyers that specialize in CHL cases. I say this while I don't even have it lol. I've been meaning to set something up.

I went ahead and bought pre paid legal through Texas Law Shield. For $240 a year for my wife and I, it's cheap insurance if we do have to shoot someone.
