Hrm, makes sence. Well seems that .32 or larger caliber is only for qualifing for CHL.. Didn't see where it said anything about what you carry.

I think it's just that you can't qualify for your chl with a rim fire, I think you can carry them legally though.

You are correct. They are a no-qualify, but are legal to CC.

Curious to know why they are no qualify?

The PMR's really are cool guns. However, they are typical keltec quality. They feel like a squirt gun and also like they'll blow your damn hand off at any moment. But, they are super fucking cool and fun to shoot.

Caliber is smaller than the minimum required to shoot the chl qualification.

caliber or the fact they are rim fire? That means a Five-Seven wouldn't qualify either.

Used to be 32, you could probably look it up on the DPS website.

.32 is what shows up in multiple places when I googled it.

My finally arrived and took out the range today- able to get ONE round down range and FTF for every round after. It's like the mag is not seating deep enough to push the round at the right height into the chamber. I was using one of the recommended ammo (Winchester SuperX FMJ 40gr)

I've read several threads about FTF issues on older production models which makes me wonder if I got some new old stock from a distributor. I'll be contacting Keltec customer service tomorrow.

Caliber. A .32 ACP pistol will, but a Raging Hornet won't.

My PF9 looked nice and clean when I bought it but the first time I fired it, it suffered multiple fail-to-eject's and had me worried at first thinking holy crap this thing sucks. I stripped it down and cleaned it heavily and lubed it up and the next outing it went thru a box of WWB/Federal bulk pack/and PDX1's (about 100 rds) with not one issue. Amazing what a difference just a good cleaning can do. I went ahead and called up Kel Tec to discuss the matter and they shipped out a new extractor/spring/bolt...as well as a new slightly longer slide spring with 1 day shipping for free....and told me if I had any more probs they would fix it for free if I sent it to them....and that it had a lifetime warranty. I've put over another 100 Remington UMC JHP's thru it since (after another good cleaning) and it fired reliably about 98% (two rounds didn't fire due to defective primers). I wouldn't hesitate recommending a Kel Tec provided you break it in and keep it clean and lubed.
